Overview

Client projects provide key insights into managing client-based software projects, encapsulating crucial frameworks such as Agile and Scrum, design sprints, Agile estimation, and effective communication techniques. They emphasize the importance of customer experience in product development and the ability to understand client challenges through various briefs. Upon successful completion, participants will be equipped with the skills to independently manage a software project from inception to launch.

Prerequisites

This is an introductory course, no prior knowledge is needed. A previous knowledge of design and/or web development would be useful, it's not necessary.

Basic English copywriting skills Basic Google sheet/powerpoint skills Basic knowledge of UI design via Figma, Sketch or any other UI/UX ideation tool

Methodology

We will cover each topic with lectures, case studies, group discussions, assignments or homework, and short presentations.

We will have a session with a client, and they will share their challenges, victories, and day-to-day work and plan.

The final project will be introduced at the beginning with a brief. Students will create an RFP and work on a client project throughout the course.

Grading

The final grade will be composed of the following criteria:
30% - Participation in lectures and case studies
30% - Homework and presentations
40% - Final project and presentation
